Nigh Falls Nisyros

I spent a week on Kos watching light change across the sea toward Nisyros island. One of those mesmerizing views you never tire of watching.

After dinner one evening, I set up my camera and watched the sun fade across crystal-clear sky, with only the occasional plane breaking the smooth tones. There was wonderful anticipation to complement the silence as this beautiful scene slowly unfolded into darkness.

This is what I call "The Edge of Darkness" - that magical sliver of the day where time feels like it pauses between day and night. Most people miss it entirely, rushing through their evening routines. But for those willing to sit present in silence with the landscape, it reveals secrets.

I've captured many images during these precious moments across the Greek islands. Each one different, each one teaching me something new about patience, about presence, about finding magic in the transition between what was and what's coming.
