Dawn's Echoes: A Symphony Over Lindos


Some places call to you again and again. Lindos is one of those sacred spaces where time seems to dance between ancient and present - its white-washed buildings cascading down to the sea like frozen music, crowned by the eternal acropolis above.


This vista demanded reverence. To capture its full grandeur, I merged twelve separate images, each frame preserving intimate details from the gentle harbor to the distant mountains that have watched over this village for millennia.


In the pre-dawn stillness, I drove through darkened roads seeking the perfect vantage point. As first light touched the acropolis, Lindos awakened with timeless sounds - donkeys announcing the day as they have for centuries, their calls echoing off ancient stones. The scene unfolded like a painting in motion, golden dawn light blessing each whitewashed wall and weathered stone.

At Mouse Island in Corfu, where Homer claims that Odysseus's ship was transformed by Poseidon's wrath into the emerald rock we see today. I'd already shot this mythological place from distant cliffs at dusk, but something called me closer.
